Dear Churches and Friends,                                                                                                 September October 2020

This last month we baptized two young men (nick names Burt & Mike). Both received Jesus as their Saviour over a year ago in our ministry. Neither was ready for baptism until now. One came forward and asked to be baptized and that inspired the other. We’re thankful for their salvation and decision to follow the Lord. The local university has opened. So, we have once again started going to the university to witness and hand out tracts. We set up our A-Frame sign on a little table just outside the cafeteria where many students pass by. It is an excellent opportunity for our group to practice what they are learning.

We had a special meeting on relationships last month, focusing on courting. Our group has several single college students and college graduates. There are two couples currently courting and surely more to follow. Therefore, we put a lot of focus on courting. An internet search of countries with the highest rates of adultery, or most unfaithful countries, will often have Thailand on top. Certainly it is a shame to be at the top of that list, but shows the moral mindset of the country. However, at Bible Baptist Church we still try to teach and maintain high morals and standards for our Lord. We thank you for your prayers and support.

Together for His service

Jeff Gross

Romans 13:13-14 –  “Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.  But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.”
