Dear Churches and Friends,                                                                                                             September October 2019

I receive a visa under a foundation we were able to establish a couple of years ago. Once started, the foundation can then invite me to be a volunteer in Thailand. We named it Cornerstone Foundation. Current regulations in Thailand require you to renew your visa once a year. It was time for my renewal recently, and I received another one year extension. However, each year there is a bit of anxiety that comes with the process.  Praise the Lord that we have a foundation and the visa was renewed. In addition, the foundation opens doors for witnessing. Thank you for your prayers. I’m sure it also helps with visas…

This past month we also had another baptism. One of our young men named Noan came forward for baptism. He is a first generation Christian. When he told his family he was a Christian, his dad said he didn’t want to talk with him. Fortunately, this didn’t last long. But the emotional strain lingers in his heart. It was a whole year before he came forward for baptism. This is common in Thailand. There is a strong undercurrent of spiritual and emotion pressure. However, it does not manifest itself physically like in other countries. We praise the Lord that he came forward to follow the Lord Jesus Christ in baptism. Thanks again for your prayers and support. May the Lord Jesus Christ be glorified.

Together for His
service

Acts 13:38-39 –Be it known unto you therefore, men and
brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could
not be justified by the law of Moses.”
